Winners Announced + Celebration Info

First of all, you all are so cool.

Congratulations to these three amazing women:

• Brenda Veinotte of New Hampshire
• Kathie Lambert in Lakeland, Florida, and
• Linda Davis in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Their names were drawn, and they will all receive Becky Harling’s book, Finding Calm in Life’s Chaos.  Thank you to everyone who entered.  

Honestly, I have been so blessed by all your comments.  I know several women who write blogs, and though sometimes feedback is scarce, it ALWAYS blesses not only the writer, but those who read the post.  There is something that both encourages and frees us when we read a story from a woman responding in a similar way as us.  Like I said before, one of the biggest lies the enemy throws at us is that we are the only losers who are struggling with a particular issue and can’t deal with life.  Hearing others’ stories opens our hearts to receive Truth and defuse lies.  So again, thank you.  And keep those comments coming!

Secondly, I want to remind all of of my Foothills, Denver and Colorado friends about our end of study wrap-up and party, our Red Letter Celebration, on Monday, August 6th at 6:30pm.  It will be at Foothills Community Church in Arvada, and we’d love to have a house full of women who have experienced Jesus in a new way this summer!  Read here for all the details.  

Next week we will enter into our last week of our Red Letter Summer.  I see Jesus differently after this study, don’t you?  Next week will contain two parts, the first looking at His crucifixion, and the second the events after His resurrection.  They are both so full of richness I cannot possibly stuff them all into just one post.
